More than 45 international buyers from 15 countries participated in a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) in Surat, fostering direct trade connections with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from South Gujarat during the third edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC).
The conference, held over two days at Auro University, aimed to enhance export opportunities and broaden global market access for local industries. Organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) in partnership with the state government, the event facilitated structured B2B meetings between international buyers and local exporters.
Buyers from various countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates, engaged in discussions with local enterprises across sectors such as textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and food products. These interactions focused on establishing long-term commercial partnerships and expanding export networks.
The VGRC initiative in Surat is part of a strategic effort to decentralize industrial promotion and bolster regional economic ecosystems in Gujarat. By emphasizing business connectivity, enhancing export potential, and integrating local industries into global trade networks, the conference aims to support MSMEs in strengthening their export capabilities and participation in international supply chains.
