Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Oren Marmorstein condemned Iran for allegedly targeting civilians with ballistic missiles, labeling the attacks as “war crimes.” Marmorstein, speaking from a residential area in Tel Aviv hit by a missile, highlighted the civilian casualties caused by what he described as Iran’s “ballistic terror.”

Differentiating Israel’s military actions from Iran’s alleged behavior, Marmorstein stressed that Israel’s targets are strictly military, while Iran is purportedly aiming at civilians, including children and the elderly. He further claimed that Iran’s missile assaults extend beyond Israel to affect multiple countries in the region.

Marmorstein clarified that Israel’s conflict is not with the Iranian people but with the ruling regime in Tehran. He emphasized the need to halt what he termed as the Iranian regime’s targeting of civilians, including foreign nationals, and referred to the attack as a “war crime.”

Highlighting a specific incident in the building where he was present, Marmorstein mentioned the death of a Filipina woman and numerous injuries due to the strike. He urged for an end to such attacks, emphasizing the broader regional impact of Iran’s actions.
