The Israel Defense Forces announced the destruction of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad weapons production site and storage facility in northern Gaza. The site was utilized by the organization for weapon production and by Hamas to create explosive devices and store weapons aimed at harming Israeli civilians and IDF troops. Forces under the Southern Command of the Israel Defense Forces were responsible for the operation. Additionally, the IDF targeted weapons depots and a drone launch site in southern Lebanon, used by Hezbollah to launch drones towards Israeli forces. The IDF successfully neutralized two launchers in southern Lebanon that had previously launched attacks on Israeli forces and fired rockets at Israel.
The IDF’s war diary revealed incidents of explosive drones launched by Hezbollah into Israeli territory near the Lebanese border. One such incident resulted in injuries to IDF soldiers, with one seriously wounded and two moderately wounded. The injured soldiers were promptly evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were informed. The Air Force intercepted multiple launches by Hezbollah towards Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, preventing any casualties. The Israel Defense Forces reported striking over 85 Hezbollah infrastructures, including weapons storage facilities, launchers, and military buildings, both from the air and land. In the Bekaa Valley, the IDF targeted an underground site used by Hezbollah for manufacturing weapons intended to harm IDF personnel and Israeli civilians.
