The Israeli Ambassador to India, speaking at the Israel National Day celebration in New Delhi, emphasized the shared journey of national rejuvenation between India and Israel. Mentioning the common fight against radicalism and terrorism, he praised both nations as ancient civilizations embracing democracy, tolerance, and sustainable development. Israel, facing challenges, showcased its economic strength, surpassing a GDP of $700 billion and excelling in technology despite adversities.
Highlighting the resilience of Israelis, the ambassador credited their success to support from allies like India. He commended the mutual traits of vitality and entrepreneurship shared by Israel and India, the latter being recognized as the fastest-growing economy globally. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh lauded Israel’s contributions to global development since its establishment in 1948, particularly in areas like agriculture, water management, healthcare, and research. Singh emphasized the alignment of values and aspirations between India and Israel, underscoring a robust and enduring partnership based on shared principles.
Expressing commitment to bolster the special strategic partnership between India and Israel, MoS Singh reiterated the joint pursuit of peace, innovation, prosperity, and the welfare of their people.
