Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his gratitude for the strong bond between Israel and India in combating terrorism. Netanyahu praised the partnership with India and their joint commitment to defeating terrorism following a conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The leaders discussed enhancing their strategic alliance and addressing regional and global issues during the call.

Netanyahu’s acknowledgment came after PM Modi’s statement highlighting their discussion on strengthening the bilateral relationship and combating terrorism with greater resolve. The Israeli PM also briefed Modi on the Gaza Peace Plan’s progress, emphasizing India’s consistent support for peace efforts in the region. Both leaders emphasized the potential of their ties for the welfare of their citizens.

In a separate post, Netanyahu’s office reiterated the focus on enhancing national security and strengthening the India-Israel partnership. The leaders discussed the depth of their relations and the opportunities to further develop their collaboration for the benefit of their people. Netanyahu expressed eagerness to meet Modi in person for continued discussions in the near future.

During a previous call in December, PM Modi and Netanyahu reaffirmed their commitment to a zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism and discussed ways to bolster their strategic cooperation. Modi underscored India’s support for initiatives aimed at achieving lasting peace in the region.
