The Jabalpur division has emerged as the top contributor to the Armed Forces Flag Fund in Madhya Pradesh, with Ujjain and Shahdol divisions following closely. Across the state, 43 districts have exceeded their collection targets, as per officials in Madhya Pradesh. Governor Mangubhai Patel recognized this achievement during a ceremony at the Lok Bhawan, where leading contributors were honored.
The event took place after a meeting of the Amalgamated Special Fund Management Committee, where senior officials and donors were commended for their efforts in raising funds for soldiers and their families. Notable individuals like Jabalpur Divisional Commissioner Dhananjay Singh Bhadauria and Collectors from Harda, Alirajpur, and Neemuch were acknowledged for surpassing their targets.
Governor Patel stressed the significance of contributions to the Armed Forces Flag Fund, stating that it symbolizes the nation’s collective responsibility beyond financial aid. He emphasized that charity towards this cause is a reflection of patriotism and called on citizens to generously support and inspire others to participate in this noble endeavor.
