Jagadguru Rambhadracharya refuted claims made by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav regarding alleged financial irregularities in the Ram Mandir funds. Akhilesh Yadav had raised concerns about missing funds from offerings at the Ayodhya temple and called for legal intervention. Rambhadracharya defended the temple trust, stating that there were no irregularities and praising the trust members for their work.
Rambhadracharya criticized Yadav for his allegations, mentioning that Yadav had never visited the Ram Mandir. He suggested that Yadav’s lack of visitation led to baseless accusations and stated that seeing Lord Ram would dispel such claims. Additionally, Rambhadracharya supported the decision of the Varanasi administration to close meat shops near temple areas and ghats, applauding the move.
Regarding the future of the Opposition’s INDIA Bloc, Rambhadracharya expressed doubts about its success. He conveyed skepticism about the alliance’s prospects, indicating a lack of optimism. Meanwhile, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge commended the united effort against the Modi government, especially in defeating contentious bills in the Lok Sabha. Kharge emphasized the need for continued unity and action to address various national issues.
