Jaipur secured a spot in the KogniVera Polo Cup final by narrowly defeating Optiemus Achievers 8-7 in a closely fought semifinal match in Jaipur. The game witnessed a back-and-forth battle with both teams scoring consistently across all four chukkers. Jaipur’s balanced attack, led by Lance Watson and HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, proved crucial in securing the win.

Optiemus Achievers took an early lead with Daniel Otamendi scoring twice, but Jaipur quickly responded through Lance Watson to keep the match close. The first chukker ended with Optiemus leading 2-1.

In the subsequent chukkers, Jaipur and Optiemus continued to trade goals, with the score tied at 3-3 by halftime. Jaipur surged ahead in the third chukker, with HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh and Lance Watson leading the charge to establish an 8-3 lead.

The final chukker saw a tense battle as Optiemus attempted a comeback, but Jaipur’s defense held firm to secure an 8-7 victory and a place in the final. HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh emerged as the top scorer with five goals, supported by Lance Watson’s three goals.

Jaipur Polo Team, known for its rich legacy and commitment to excellence, will now face V Polo in the KogniVera Cup final. In a previous match, Jaipur Polo Team displayed dominance with a 9.5-5 victory over Chandna Polo, highlighting their attacking prowess, structured gameplay, and composed performance throughout the tournament.
