Jaipur Polo Team orchestrated a remarkable late surge to defeat Vimal Arion Achievers 10–9 in the Raffles Sirmour Cup, securing a spot in the tournament final. Initially trailing 1–2 after the first chukker, Jaipur displayed improved coordination and composure to lead 3–2 at halftime.
The third chukker showcased Jaipur’s dominance, with precise ball movement and clinical finishing propelling them to a commanding 7–4 advantage. Spearheaded by Lance Watson’s decisive strikes and Manuel Fernandez Llorente’s vital contributions, Jaipur took control of the match.
Vimal Arion Achievers fought back strongly in the fourth and fifth chukkers, narrowing the gap and taking a 9–7 lead by the end of the fifth period. However, Jaipur’s resilient performance in the final chukker saw them score three crucial goals while maintaining a solid defense, securing a dramatic 10–9 victory and a place in the final.
In a stellar display, Lance Watson netted five goals for Jaipur, supported by Manuel Fernandez Llorente’s four-goal contribution. HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh also added a goal, highlighting Jaipur’s blend of experience and attacking prowess in their triumph.
Jaipur Polo Team had previously claimed the Kognivera Cup title with a composed 5–2 win over V Polo, marking their seventh championship victory of the season.
