Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has released detailed instructions ahead of Bakrid, urging Muslims to perform ‘Qurbani’ while following government regulations and local directives. President Mahmood Asad Madani stressed the importance of adhering to legal provisions, civic norms, and cleanliness during the sacrifices. He highlighted that sacrifice is a crucial Islamic practice and urged compliance with government guidelines and local rules.

Maintaining hygiene and sanitation is emphasized during the festival, with a plea to dispose of animal waste responsibly. Madani urged the community to avoid inconveniencing others and to cooperate with municipal workers in waste disposal. He also advised strict adherence to legal procedures for purchasing, selling, and transporting sacrificial animals.

To prevent communal tension, Madani urged people to stay calm, seek legal help if needed, and refrain from reacting emotionally. He emphasized the importance of not taking the law into one’s own hands and to report any issues to the authorities promptly. In case of obstacles in performing Qurbani, individuals are advised to seek assistance from Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind or its local units.
