Hollywood star Jamie Foxx has praised Michael B. Jordan for his recent Oscar victory. Foxx expressed his pride in Jordan after the latter’s win at the 2026 Oscars. Foxx took to social media to congratulate Jordan, calling him an exceptional actor and director.

Foxx posted an Instagram video where he lauded Jordan’s performance in ‘Sinners’. He commended Jordan’s talent and expressed his admiration for the actor’s skills. Foxx mentioned that Jordan’s portrayal in the film was truly remarkable.

In the movie, directed by Ryan Coogler, Jordan played the roles of twins Smoke and Stack. Jordan, the sixth Black man to win the Best Actor Oscar, acknowledged the support of his predecessors during his acceptance speech. He thanked iconic figures like Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, and Jamie Foxx for paving the way for him.

Other nominees for the Best Actor category included Leonardo DiCaprio, Ethan Hawke, Timothee Chalamet, and Wagner Moura.
