Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, inspected the preparations at Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra starting this Friday. Sinha visited the Yatri Niwas and checked the arrangements made for the pilgrims ahead of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026. He oversaw logistics, lodging, security, health facilities, help desks, sanitation, power, water supply, emergency services, and other essential facilities to ensure a smooth experience for the devotees.

He instructed officials to manage manpower effectively to handle the large number of devotees expected. Additionally, he stressed the importance of making regular public announcements at Bhagwati Nagar and Tawi Riverfront to provide timely information to the yatris. The Lieutenant Governor also engaged with devotees of Baba Barfani, extending his wishes for a safe and peaceful pilgrimage.

The Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, spanning 57 days, will kick off on July 3 from the base camp on both routes and will conclude on August 28. The first batch of the Yatra will be inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor Sinha on July 2 from Yatri Niwas at Jammu’s Bhagwati Nagar. Sinha was accompanied by various officials from civil administration, police, and security forces during his visit.
