Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat, conducted a thorough review of anti-terrorist operations and the law and order situation in Awantipora police district. The review meeting, chaired by DGP Nalin Prabhat, focused on assessing security measures, counter-terror operations, and the overall law and order status in the area. Accompanied by other high-ranking officials, the DGP emphasized intensifying efforts against anti-national elements, drugs, and criminal activities.

Senior officers, including Special DG Coordination S.J.M. Gillani, Inspector General V.K. Birdi, and DIG Javid Iqbal Matoo, were present at the meeting held in Awantipora. Discussions centered on the ongoing counter-terror operations, measures to combat drug abuse, and other criminal activities within the police district. The DGP stressed the importance of strong coordination, intelligence-based operations, and proactive policing to ensure peace and stability in the region.

During the review, specific attention was given to the prevailing security situation and the need for a robust approach against unlawful activities. The DGP directed officers to take strict actions against offenders and encouraged them to maintain vigilance, discipline, and proactivity in their respective areas. Acknowledging the efforts of police personnel, the DGP commended their alertness, discipline, and mission-oriented mindset.
