Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat, conducted a thorough review of anti-terrorist operations and the law and order situation in Awantipora police district. Accompanied by other high-ranking officials, the DGP emphasized intensifying efforts against anti-national elements, drugs, and criminal activities.
Senior officers, including Special DG Coordination S.J.M. Gillani, Inspector General V.K. Birdi, and DIG Javid Iqbal Matoo, were present at the meeting held in Awantipora. Discussions centered on the ongoing counter-terror operations, measures to combat drug abuse, and other criminal activities within the police district. The DGP stressed the importance of strong coordination, intelligence-based operations, and proactive policing to ensure peace and stability in the region.
