In response to the query about the Home Stay Programme, the government highlighted its success in increasing accommodation capacity, creating local jobs, and promoting community involvement in tourism. Due to its positive outcomes, the program is likely to expand to other potential areas. The government acknowledged challenges such as limited awareness, capacity gaps, and infrastructure issues, which are being addressed through awareness campaigns and capacity-building initiatives.
