Kumar highlighted instances where ministers, especially if Dalit, were prevented from speaking, emphasizing the need for decorum and adherence to rules.
Neeraj Kumar mentioned the existence of video evidence capturing the incident and suggested that it would reveal the individuals responsible for the misconduct. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi defended her party’s conduct, stating they followed democratic norms and criticized the use of unparliamentary language by senior members. The Legislative Council witnessed a tense atmosphere following a controversial remark by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, leading to clashes between government and Opposition representatives.
Amid escalating tensions, Bihar government minister Ashok Choudhary and Opposition MLC Sunil Singh engaged in a verbal altercation, prompting the Speaker to intervene. Choudhary accused the Opposition of instigating disruptions and disregarding the Speaker’s instructions to maintain order.
