JEE Advanced 2026 All India Rank (AIR) 1 topper Shubham Kumar expressed joy over his accomplishment, describing his journey as rewarding. His stellar performance contributed to Kota’s reputation as a top IIT-JEE preparation hub.
Shubham emphasized the importance of hard work and consistency for aspirants, urging them to stay determined. His mother, Kanchan, praised his dedication, highlighting the support he received from teachers throughout his preparation.
Following the announcement of JEE Advanced 2026 results by IIT Roorkee, Shubham emerged as the overall topper, securing the highest rank in the Common Rank List (CRL) with a score of 330 out of 360. Over 56,000 candidates successfully cleared the exam out of nearly 1.8 lakh aspirants who appeared for it.
The results revealed Shubham’s top position in the national rankings, with Kabir Chhillar and Jatain Chahar from the IIT Delhi zone following closely. Candidates can access their results on the official JEE Advanced portal by logging in with their registration details.
IIT Roorkee also released category-wise merit lists, showcasing candidates’ performances across different categories. The examination, serving as a gateway to IIT undergraduate programs, saw a total of 1,87,389 registrations, with 56,880 candidates qualifying for admission.
