Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez recently expressed that shooting kissing scenes still makes her a bit nervous, despite her extensive experience in the industry. At the premiere of her new romantic comedy film “Office Romance” with Brett Goldstein at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theatre, Lopez admitted to feeling anxious about such scenes. She mentioned that having to kiss someone new on set can be daunting, even after all these years.
In the movie, Lopez portrays Jackie Cruz, a CEO who develops feelings for her newly hired employee, Daniel Blanchflower, played by Goldstein. The plot revolves around their clandestine romance as they choose to follow their hearts rather than adhere to conventional norms. Lopez praised Goldstein’s performance, highlighting their natural on-screen chemistry that was evident from their first meeting.
Goldstein, co-writer of the rom-com alongside Joe Kelly, revealed that they envisioned Lopez in the lead role while crafting the script during the filming of “Ted Lasso.” He described Lopez as the perfect fit for the character they had created, emphasizing her unique blend of charm and talent that brought the role to life.
