Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren recently presented appointment letters to newly hired staff in the Women, Child Development, and Social Security Department at an event in the Jharkhand Secretariat. A total of 62 Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) and 237 women supervisors were among those who received their appointment letters from the Chief Minister. CM Soren highlighted the significance of this extensive recruitment drive, emphasizing its importance for the state’s progress.

Expressing his faith in the fresh appointees, Soren expressed his belief that they would fulfill their duties with dedication and empathy, ensuring the effective implementation of departmental initiatives at the grassroots level. He underscored the pivotal role of women in Jharkhand’s holistic advancement, noting that the appointments were made with a focus on women-centric issues.

The Chief Minister addressed the pressing issue of malnutrition, urging collective action to eradicate it and urging the new recruits to actively contribute to making the state malnutrition-free. Soren pointed out that numerous remote areas in Jharkhand lack fundamental amenities and stressed the importance of extending government schemes to these regions as a top priority.

Highlighting the necessity of coordination and accountability among officials and staff, Soren emphasized that this would enhance transparency in execution and ensure prompt delivery of benefits to the populace. He also stressed the significance of administrative transparency and improved coordination, stating that connectivity is crucial for the efficient implementation of schemes in both rural and urban areas. To facilitate this, mobile phones and tablets have been provided to women workers at block and village levels within the department.

Soren acknowledged the pivotal role women play not only within their families but also in the societal and state development processes. He congratulated the successful candidates, extending his best wishes for their future endeavors. Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department Uma Shankar Singh, Director Kiran Kumar Pasi, senior officials, and family members of the newly appointed individuals were also present at the event.
