The trailer for director Nithish Sahadev’s comedy film ‘Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil’, starring Jiiva, was officially unveiled at a grand event in Chennai. Jiiva mentioned that this movie, his 45th, was filmed in a picturesque village in the Western Ghats over 45 days. The storyline revolves around pre-wedding events and was predominantly shot at night.
Produced by Kannan Ravi, the film’s shooting spanned 40 nights in a scenic location, fostering a familial atmosphere among the crew. Jiiva expressed gratitude towards the locals who participated in the film, treating the team like their own. Originally planned for January 30, the film’s release was moved up due to a delay in another movie’s release.
Jiiva, portraying a village Panchayat chief in the film, shared that it delves into a conflict between two families. Besides Jiiva, the cast includes Thambi Ramaiya, Ilavarasu, and several others. Written by Sanjo Joseph, Nithish Sahadev, and Anuraj OB, the film features music by Vishnu Vijay and creative direction by Lipin Unni.
