O.P. Jindal Global University recently completed its 15th Convocation Ceremony, spanning July 25-26, where 5,604 students graduated from various programs. The event united students, families, faculty, alumni, and notable national and international figures to honor academic achievements and service.
The ceremonies commenced with Prof (Dr) C. Raj Kumar presenting the University Report, highlighting JGU’s global recognition for teaching, research, and public service. Chancellor Naveen Jindal congratulated the graduates, emphasizing values like integrity and leadership for their future endeavors. The event also saw the presence of distinguished personalities like Justice P.S. Narasimha and Professor (Dr) Dawn Freshwater.
Naveen Jindal, in his address, emphasized the importance of education and purpose in life, urging graduates to contribute meaningfully to society. Chief Guest Justice P.S. Narasimha praised the institution’s commitment to education and urged students to uphold the rule of law for a just society. Special Guest of Honour, Professor (Dr) Dawn Freshwater, emphasized the responsibility of higher education in shaping societal roles and fostering social responsibility.
During the convocation, Professor (Dr) Tarun Khanna encouraged graduates to embrace curiosity, learn from failures, and navigate life’s uncertainties with an open mind. The event also featured Chief Guest Dr Abhishek M. Singhvi, who highlighted the significance of new beginnings and the enduring pursuit of justice. The convocation celebrated individual achievements and the collective impact on society and nation-building.
