Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch disclosed on Wednesday that it has submitted the charge sheet in court regarding the accused involved in the airport job scam. The charge sheet was filed against four individuals for their alleged participation in a job fraud scheme, with three from Delhi and one from Uttar Pradesh.
The accused have been identified as Mohit Sharma alias Bhardwaj, Mukesh Kumar, Mehmood Khan, and Ram Lakhan. The case revolves around complaints from various districts in the Kashmir Valley, where job seekers were reportedly swindled of money with false promises of employment at the Airports Authority of India.
After a comprehensive investigation, the allegations were substantiated, leading to the filing of the case in court, as stated by the Crime Branch Kashmir. The public has been urged to stay cautious against such financial scams and report any suspicious activities to the SSP, EOW Kashmir.
Victims are encouraged to file complaints via email at [email protected], as highlighted in the statement. The Crime Branch, a division of J&K Police specializing in probing financial crimes, is handling the case.
