Hollywood actor Jonathan Majors is making a comeback in a new action film after a hiatus. The untitled movie, currently in production in South Carolina, marks his first film in four years. Details about the plot, title, and cast are being kept secret, but the film is said to draw inspiration from ’80s and ’90s action flicks like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers.
Kyle Rankin is directing the movie from his own screenplay, with Ben Shapiro and Dallas Sonnier producing for The Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend respectively. Majors, known for his role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is also set to star in another project, a supernatural revenge thriller called Merciless.
In an interview, Majors expressed his willingness to reprise his role as Kang if given the opportunity. Despite facing setbacks in his career due to past legal issues, he remains hopeful and appreciative of the industry. Majors highlighted the support given to other actors who faced similar challenges, expressing a desire for a second chance in Hollywood.
