A tragic fire at a chemical and firecracker factory in the Khushkheda Industrial Area of Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, resulted in the loss of seven lives. The blaze, starting at plot number G1/118B, quickly spread due to the presence of highly flammable chemicals and firecracker materials. Despite around 20 to 25 workers being on duty, only some managed to escape, with seven workers losing their lives and one still missing.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed deep sorrow over the incident and promptly instructed the district administration to conduct rapid relief and rescue operations. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also conveyed his condolences, emphasizing the need for minimal loss of life in such tragic accidents. Firefighters battled the flames for over an hour, eventually gaining control, but the damage was extensive, leading to charred bodies and a heartbreaking scene inside the factory.

The factory, involved in chemical and firecracker production, is under scrutiny for safety compliance and potential negligence. The owner, identified as Rajendra, faces questions regarding adherence to safety standards. A judicial inquiry has been initiated to investigate any safety lapses. Outside the factory, a significant police presence was observed as grieving family members demanded accountability for the devastating incident.
