Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao accused the Congress government in Telangana of betraying farmers, students, youth, women, and weaker sections. He stated that people in the state were eager for the return of BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s leadership.
Speaking at a meeting of key BRS party workers in Sathupalli, Khammam district, KTR emphasized the need to remove the current “anti-people” Congress government. He criticized the lack of progress in Khammam district despite having three influential ministers.
KTR questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s approach to crop procurement, highlighting unfulfilled promises and delays in supporting farmers. He contrasted the previous government’s achievements, such as significant investments in farmer support, with the current administration’s alleged shortcomings.
Highlighting concerns over pending fee reimbursements and unmet promises to students and unemployed youth, KTR accused the Congress government of undermining welfare and development initiatives initiated during the BRS regime. He urged BRS cadres to ensure voter list integrity during the electoral roll revision and to actively participate in the upcoming digital membership drive.
