Musician Kailash Kher recently visited the revered Kedarnath Temple to seek divine blessings. He performed his powerful track ‘Bam Lahiri’ dedicated to Lord Shiva amidst the snow-capped Himalayan mountains. Kher shared a video of the moment, expressing his devotion with the caption, “Mahadev ka dhaam, Pooran saare kaam. Jai Jai Kedara.”
Kedarnath Temple, situated in the Garhwal Himalayan range in Uttarakhand, India, is one of the twelve jyotirlingas. Due to harsh weather conditions, the temple is open to the public only from April to November. Kailash Kher, a 52-year-old singer, gained fame with songs like “Allah Ke Bande” and hits such as “Teri Deewani” and “Saiyyan” performed with his band, Kailasa.
Apart from his solo career, Kher has also lent his voice to various films including “Mangal Pandey: The Rising” and the “Baahubali” series. He has also composed music for films like “Chandni Chowk to China” and “Dasvidaniya.” Recently, he released a melodious track titled “Jogi,” paying tribute to Adi Shankaracharya and reflecting on spiritual wisdom and ancient folk poetry.
