Polling for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections began with over 5.73 crore eligible voters participating in the electoral process. The main contenders in the election are the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance and the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance. The voting process saw a significant turnout early in the morning.
Prominent personalities, including actor-politician Sundar C and Khushbu Sundar, were among the early voters in the elections. The counting of votes is scheduled for May 4, determining the state’s next government. Kamal Haasan is set to appear in the sequel of “Kalki 2898 AD,” while Shruti was recently seen in the film “Coolie.”
