Kangana Ranaut is set to star in “Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata,” a film honoring healthcare workers during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. A special screening dedicated to healthcare professionals was held in Bhubaneswar, attended by Kangana and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Some healthcare workers were honored with special badges during the event.
In her remarks, Kangana expressed that the film celebrates the selflessness and patriotism of Indian citizens, inspired by the phrase “Bharat Bhhagya Vidhaata” coined by the Prime Minister. She thanked the Chief Minister for his presence and highlighted the importance of recognizing local “silent heroes.”
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi praised the film for evoking a sense of nationalism and commended Kangana’s performance as the film’s anchor. He lauded the portrayal of healthcare workers’ dedication during a crisis. The movie also features actors Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, and others in its cast.
“Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata,” presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada, is a collaborative production set to release in cinemas on June 12 this year.
