Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor recently shared her favorite song by the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle. Karisma expressed her love for the track “Tu Tu Hai Wahi” from the 1982 movie “Yeh Vaada Raha,” a duet by Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar, with lyrics by Gulshan Bawra and music by R. D. Burman. The iconic song features Rishi Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon.

Karisma took to her official Instagram account to post a photo and video of herself by the sea, with “Tu Tu Hai Wahi” playing in the background. She fondly recalled growing up listening to this particular song by Asha Bhosle.

Asha Bhosle, the legendary singer, passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Her last rites were conducted at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, with a host of celebrities from the music and film industries paying their respects. Notable personalities like Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and political leaders including Devendra Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray were present to bid farewell to the music icon.

During her illustrious career spanning eight decades, Asha Bhosle was honored with prestigious awards like the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
