Karnataka BJP criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the Congress government, alleging internal surveillance, financial mismanagement, and unfulfilled election promises. The Leader of the Opposition, R. Ashoka, claimed that an unauthorized team was monitoring Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s activities, including fund cuts and phone tapping.
