Karnataka BJP and Union Minister Congratulate D.K. Shivakumar as New Chief Minister

Karnataka BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra and Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, extended congratulations to D.K. Shivakumar on his appointment as the 25th Chief Minister of Karnataka. Vijayendra expressed optimism that the new government under Shivakumar’s leadership would prioritize the state’s holistic progress and development.

Vijayendra emphasized the importance of the new government’s commitment to enhancing Karnataka’s land, water resources, language, and overall growth. He also highlighted the expectations of the people for the government to protect the interests of various segments of society, including farmers, laborers, women, children, and the underprivileged.

Union Minister Kumaraswamy, despite past political differences with Shivakumar, also conveyed his best wishes to the new Chief Minister. He expressed hope that Shivakumar would leverage this opportunity to implement people-centric initiatives and contribute significantly to the advancement and prosperity of Karnataka.
