Karnataka BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra criticized Home Minister Priyank Kharge for his comments against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), accusing him of engaging in divisive rhetoric. Vijayendra emphasized that the RSS operates within India’s constitutional framework and highlighted its long-standing presence despite past attempts to ban it.

Vijayendra suggested that the focus on criticizing the RSS was a distraction from addressing governance issues. He pointed out the need for better governance and development in Kharge’s Gulbarga constituency, attributing its poor performance to ineffective leadership over the years.

Reacting to Kharge’s remarks, BJP MLC C.T. Ravi advised the Home Minister to maintain the dignity of his office and avoid behaving in a goonda-like manner. Ravi warned against misusing power and drew parallels with incidents in West Bengal, cautioning about potential similar situations in Karnataka.
