Allegations of neglect towards AHINDA communities were raised by Karnataka BJP General Secretary and MLA, V. Sunil Kumar, against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Despite being in power for three years, the Congress government, according to Kumar, has not addressed the concerns of these marginalized groups. AHINDA represents Alpasankhyataru (Minorities), Hindulidavaru (Backward Classes), and Dalitaru (Dalits).
Sunil Kumar criticized Siddaramaiah for using AHINDA merely for political gain without delivering tangible benefits to the community. He highlighted the failure of the state government to release funds allocated for backward classes in the previous budget, as per official data. The BJP leader urged voters to reject the government in the upcoming by-election due to its alleged negligence towards these communities.
The BJP leader also expressed concern over the delayed release of a social and educational survey report by former Advocate General Madhusudhan Naik. Despite significant taxpayer expenditure on the survey, the report has not been made public, leading to accusations of government silence on the matter. Kumar further accused the state government of planning to dismiss outsourced employees, contributing to administrative chaos and unfilled vacancies.
