Karnataka BJP President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra criticized the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) for demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resignation over alleged cash theft at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Vijayendra labeled this demand as absurd and irresponsible, suggesting that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should resign instead due to the National Herald case. He accused the Congress government in Karnataka of covering up various alleged scams, questioning their accountability.
Vijayendra emphasized the independence of the Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and praised the prompt action taken by the Uttar Pradesh government in response to the donation theft allegations. In contrast, he accused the Congress government in Karnataka of attempting to hide corruption allegations against itself. Vijayendra also criticized the Congress for displaying double standards regarding central investigative agencies, highlighting their inconsistency in trusting the CBI.
The BJP President concluded by stating that the Congress lacks the moral authority to criticize others and emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s enduring public support despite opposition attempts to tarnish his popularity.
