Karnataka BJP President and MLA, B.Y. Vijayendra, announced a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) mass outreach campaign scheduled for July 25 and 26. The campaign aims to reach one crore households across Karnataka. This initiative comes amidst the ongoing SIR exercise in the state.
Vijayendra revealed that the campaign will involve all BJP MPs, MLAs, MLCs, former elected representatives, and party workers. The goal is to raise awareness about Enumeration Forms, address voter concerns, and ensure the successful completion of the SIR exercise. Each party worker has been tasked with visiting a minimum of 20 households.
Highlighting the challenges faced by Karnataka due to deficient rainfall, Vijayendra criticized the state government for its response. He expressed disappointment that the Chief Minister and the government were not actively addressing the drought situation. Vijayendra also compared the current government’s approach to crisis management with that of former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.
