Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has hinted that ministerial assignments in the state government could be completed by Thursday evening. He emphasized that media reports on this matter are speculative and no official decisions have been made yet regarding portfolio distribution. Kharge stressed the importance of responsibility in public office, urging leaders to view their roles as opportunities to serve the people effectively.

Kharge clarified that despite speculations, ministerial allocations have not been finalized and are expected to be decided later in the day as assured by the Chief Minister. He highlighted the need for all leaders to diligently fulfill their responsibilities, emphasizing that every role, regardless of its magnitude, should be utilized for the benefit of the public. When questioned about the Home Ministry portfolio, Kharge reiterated the supremacy of law and the constitutional framework, emphasizing the need for all actions to align with legal provisions.

Regarding the appointment of B.K. Hariprasad as the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President, Kharge praised Hariprasad’s disciplined and experienced background within the party. He commended Hariprasad’s journey from grassroots levels through various party positions, citing his alignment with Congress ideology and extensive organizational experience across states. Kharge expressed confidence that Hariprasad’s leadership would contribute to strengthening the party in Karnataka.

Kharge also addressed internal party dynamics, mentioning the willingness of Satish Jarkiholi and Hariprasad to undertake any assigned responsibilities. He dismissed reports of internal discord, stating that both individuals are prepared to assume roles as needed, despite media speculation on leadership and organizational matters. Kharge highlighted the readiness of party members to embrace responsibilities and work towards the party’s objectives.
