Karnataka Police apprehended two individuals, including a software professional, for posting derogatory remarks about actor Darshan’s spouse, Vijayalaxmi. The accused used offensive language and later deleted the messages upon filing of a complaint. The arrested parties, identified as Nitin and Chandru, were tracked down through their IP addresses.

Vijayalaxmi had expressed dissatisfaction with the alleged inaction of Bengaluru Police concerning her complaints against multiple social media accounts for posting abusive content. Despite her claims, Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh refuted the accusations and stated that investigations were ongoing. Following a meeting with Singh, Vijayalaxmi took to social media to voice her concerns.

Notably, Kannada actress Ramya, also known as Divya Spandana, had lodged a complaint against Darshan’s supporters for issuing threats after she supported the victim’s family in a fan murder case. The police swiftly acted in that instance. Vijayalaxmi, in her social media posts, emphasized the need for impartial justice and urged against supporting such negative behaviors.

Vijayalaxmi recently lodged a complaint at the Cyber Crime Police Station against various social media accounts for their offensive comments. She also visited the Bengaluru Police Commissioner’s office to submit evidence and request action. The cybercrime division assured her of appropriate measures and accepted her complaint. Additionally, she shared details of the abusive comments on social media platforms.
