The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer in Karnataka reported that 89.02% of Enumeration Forms have been distributed for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in the state. A total of 4,93,43,328 Enumeration Forms have been handed out to electors through Booth Level Officers, covering 89.02% of the total electorate.
In terms of distribution, 30,687 polling stations, equivalent to 51.97%, have achieved complete distribution of Enumeration Forms, while an additional 13,001 polling stations (22.02%) have surpassed the 90% distribution mark. On the digitization front, 95,16,080 Enumeration Forms, representing 17.17% of the electorate, have been digitized to date.
The ongoing verification process has revealed 3,36,888 electors falling under the Absentee, Shifted, and Dead/Duplicate (ASDDO) category. Additionally, 15,290 electors were found untraceable or absent, with 1,82,292 identified as permanently shifted from their registered addresses. The exercise also identified 1,18,275 deceased electors and 19,897 persons already enrolled elsewhere.
According to the CEO’s office, Karnataka had a total of 5,54,32,314 registered electors as of June 16, 2026. The house-to-house enumeration and digitization process began on June 30 and will run until July 29.
