Amid the ongoing embezzlement controversy, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust plans to convene a crucial meeting in Ayodhya to discuss administrative reforms. This includes selecting the temple’s first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and filling three vacant positions within the Trust.

A committee tasked with recommending candidates for the CEO role has faced challenges due to the high volume of applications. Consequently, the final shortlist of candidates may not be ready for the upcoming Trust meeting, delaying the appointment of the temple’s CEO.

The decision to establish the CEO position was made in response to allegations of theft involving temple offerings. The Trust aims to enhance management efficiency, financial transparency, security measures, and devotee facilities through this new administrative structure.

The appointed CEO will oversee daily temple operations, execute management decisions, and manage staff. Additionally, the CEO will have the authority, subject to Trust approval, to appoint necessary personnel for temple administration.

In addition to the CEO appointment, discussions within the Trust also revolve around filling three vacant positions. These vacancies emerged due to the passing of trustee Bimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra and the resignations of former General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Dr. Anil Mishra.

The possibility of Krishna Mohan, the acting General Secretary, assuming the permanent role remains uncertain. Trust member Mahant Dinendra Das emphasized the importance of appointing individuals with integrity and transparency, free from any misconduct or criminal involvement.

Krishna Mohan is a prominent candidate for the permanent General Secretary position, while deliberations are ongoing regarding the vacant trustee roles, including the potential consideration of VHP National General Secretary B.L. Bangda.

The outcomes of the Trust’s discussions are anticipated to shape the future administrative framework of the Ram Temple, focusing on reinforcing governance and accountability post recent controversies.
