Rahul Tripathi, a KKR player, surprised fans by joining the event, engaging with supporters, taking photos, and adding to the excitement of the gathering.
KKR has faced challenges in the current IPL season, starting with a loss to Mumbai Indians followed by a defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Their match against Punjab Kings was abandoned due to rain, earning them a solidarity point. In their recent game, they suffered a defeat against Lucknow Super Giants, leaving them with just one point from four matches. Additionally, KKR has encountered setbacks with bowlers, losing Mustafizur Rahman and Harshit Rana before the tournament began.
The Kolkata Knight Riders are currently in Chennai for their match against the Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on April 14.
