Krishak Bharati Cooperative Ltd (KRIBHCO) is set to hold a national cooperative conference in Panchkula, Haryana, focusing on sustainable agriculture. The event will address policy issues, the role of primary agricultural credit societies, income stability for farmers, and cooperative-based agricultural models in the face of climate change challenges.

Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah will grace the conference as the chief guest, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Prosperity through Cooperation.” Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will also participate as a special guest during the event.

During the conference, Minister Shah will inaugurate the Milk Cooling Centre in Bhiwani and the HAFED Atta Mill in Rewari. Additionally, he will distribute RuPay Platinum Debit Cards to cooperative bank beneficiaries in Haryana and hand out registration certificates to the Presidents of M-PACS established by Haryana KRIBHCO.

The agenda of the conference includes sharing advanced agricultural knowledge, providing affordable credit, adopting modern technologies, and promoting organic and climate-resilient agricultural practices within the cooperative framework. KRIBHCO’s initiatives have positively impacted millions of farmers nationwide through fertiliser supply, advisory services, and farmer-centric programs.

This national conference in Panchkula marks a significant move towards reshaping the cooperative movement in line with the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
