Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) criticized Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for using “derogatory” language against BRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao. KTR emphasized that showing restraint should not be misunderstood as weakness.
KTR expressed his disappointment with the Chief Minister’s repeated personal attacks on KCR, stating that he cannot stay silent as a son and party member. He highlighted the need for the Chief Minister to respond to KCR’s inquiries rather than resorting to disrespectful language.
During a meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KTR issued a political warning to the Chief Minister, challenging him to fulfill his promises to the people. He criticized Revanth Reddy for his conduct, which KTR believes has tarnished the dignity of the Chief Minister’s office and exposed his inability to address critical public concerns.
KTR accused the Chief Minister of evading straightforward questions posed by KCR, such as the delay in the Palamuru–Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project and unmet Congress promises. He emphasized the importance of accountability in responding to legitimate inquiries raised by the opposition leader on behalf of the public.
