Kunga scored five goals, leading Sham Zone Women to a 6-0 victory over Pin Zone. Meanwhile, Tanzin netted eight goals as Pin Zone Senior Men secured a 12-2 win, the highest-scoring match of the day.
Center Zone and Sham Zone also achieved significant wins in the U-18 Boys and Senior Men’s categories. Center Zone U-18 started the day with a dominant 6–1 win over Tod Zone. Prashant Thakur and Kunga Takpa played crucial roles in securing the victory with impressive performances on the ice.
Tod Zone fought back in the second period, but Center Zone’s strong performance in the final period secured a comprehensive win. Sham Zone Women also displayed a dominant performance, defeating Pin Zone Women 6–0. Kunga Yangchen and Tanzin Chhodon were instrumental in Sham Zone’s victory, showcasing their prowess in the game.
In another match, Center Zone Men triumphed over Sham Zone Men with a disciplined 4–1 win. Namdol’s hat-trick and solid defense led Center Zone to victory, placing them at the top of the table with four points from two games. Pin Zone Men also had a remarkable game, overpowering Lahaul Men’s Team 12–2, with Tanzin Dorje’s exceptional performance.
The action-packed day also saw Sham Zone U-18 securing an 8–2 win over Tod Zone. The match witnessed impressive performances from players like Takpa Thuktan and Rigzin Angrup.
