The trailer for the Hindi version of ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ has been unveiled ahead of its nationwide release on January 9, 2026. The film, which created history by becoming Gujarat’s first movie to cross the ₹100 crore mark at the box office, is now set to reach Hindi-speaking audiences across India.

Originally released in Gujarati on October 10, 2025, the spiritual drama captivated audiences with its powerful narrative and achieved unprecedented success in regional cinema.

What is Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate About?

The film follows the journey of Laalo, a rickshaw driver struggling with life’s hardships while supporting his family. Haunted by his past and trapped in circumstances beyond his control, Laalo’s world begins to crumble around him.

At his lowest point, an unexpected divine encounter with Lord Krishna transforms his life. This spiritual awakening challenges his belief system and sets him on a path of inner transformation. The narrative unfolds both externally in Laalo’s daily struggles and internally through his spiritual journey.\

Cast and Crew Details

  • Cast: Reeva Rachh leads the ensemble cast alongside Shruhad Goswami, Karan Joshi, Mishty Kadecha, Anshu Joshi, Kinnal Nayak, Parul Rajyaguru, and Jaydeep Timaniya.
  • Director: Ankit Sakhiya
  • Music Composer: Smmit Jay
  • Cinematographer: Shubham Gajjar
  • Runtime: 135 minutes

Director Ankit Sakhiya on the Film’s Journey

Speaking about the film, director Ankit Sakhiya shared: “Laalo was always meant to be a very simple story—about an ordinary man trapped by circumstances, trying to find his way out. As we explored the narrative, we asked ourselves, what if, in his darkest moments, Lord Krishna himself shows him the path? That idea became the soul of the film.”

He added, “What started as a small, almost no-budget project has today become Gujarat’s highest-grossing film, with audiences cheering, clapping, and emotionally surrendering to the story—something that’s rare for regional cinema.”

Box Office Success Story

The Gujarati version achieved a historic milestone by crossing ₹100 crore at the box office, making it the first Gujarati film ever to achieve this feat. The overwhelming response from Gujarat audiences prompted the makers to expand its release nationwide in Hindi.

The makers are confident that the film’s universal themes of faith, inner awakening, and spiritual transformation will resonate with audiences across India, regardless of language barriers.

‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ represents a significant moment for regional cinema, proving that compelling storytelling rooted in spirituality can achieve mainstream commercial success and cross linguistic boundaries.
