Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and other leaders honored Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh, on his birth anniversary. Governor Abdul Nazeer praised Dr. YSR as a visionary leader who championed the people and implemented numerous welfare schemes and developmental projects benefiting millions.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy remembered the late leader’s impactful welfare programs that remain cherished by all. He highlighted Dr. YSR’s services to the underprivileged and the enduring legacy of his welfare initiatives. Alongside Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and other officials, Revanth Reddy paid respects to YSR at his Jubilee Hills residence.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka paid homage to YSR at his statue in Panjagutta, Hyderabad, emphasizing the former Chief Minister’s enduring influence. Vikramarka commended YSR’s welfare programs as a national model and praised his dedication to uplifting the poor. He underscored YSR’s empathetic leadership style, particularly his grassroots interactions during the padayatra, which endeared him to the masses.
Vikramarka highlighted YSR’s significant initiatives like Aarogyasri, 108 emergency services, Indiramma houses, and free electricity for farmers, which have benefitted numerous families. He emphasized YSR’s unwavering commitment to farmers’ welfare and his focus on uplifting the marginalized sections of society. The Deputy Chief Minister lauded YSR’s public service ethos as an inspiration for the present generation.
