The movie “Zubeidaa” is the final installment in a trilogy that includes “Mammo” and “Sardari Begum.” It portrays the life of Zubeida Begum, who married Hanwant Singh of Jodhpur and was the mother of the film’s writer, Khalid Mohamed. The film, released in 2001, won the National Film Award for ‘Best Feature Film in Hindi’ and was well-received for its cinematography and editing.
