Addressing newly elected Legislators in the West Bengal Assembly, he stressed the importance of seeking solutions, conducting discussions, and addressing problems within the Assembly. During the inauguration of a two-day orientation programme, Birla urged legislators to focus on information-based discussions and continuous learning during Assembly sessions. He encouraged them to lead based on informed discussions and to maintain a proactive learning attitude. Birla emphasized the significance of exploring new avenues for the betterment of their constituencies.
Furthermore, Birla advised the newly elected MLAs to embrace digital learning to stay abreast of national and international developments. He underscored the importance of leveraging digital resources in the current era of artificial intelligence. Birla encouraged legislators to utilize the Assembly as a platform for continuous learning and growth, emphasizing the value of staying engaged and informed.
In his address, Birla commended the new Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari, for his performance in the initial two months of assuming office. He praised Adhikari’s vision and commitment to operating within the democratic framework, acknowledging his efforts in steering the state administration effectively.
