The Gujarat government has made elaborate arrangements for the ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’, a spiritual event taking place from January 8 to 11. Special train services have been introduced to ensure safe and convenient travel for the devotees visiting the sacred Somnath Dham.
At the Veraval Railway Station, devotees were greeted with ‘kumkum tilak’ and bouquets, creating an atmosphere filled with devotional fervor. Chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev – Jai Somnath’ resonated through the station premises, adding to the spiritual ambiance.
The State Road Transport Corporation has also organized special bus services between the station and the temple for the devotees’ convenience in reaching Somnath for darshan. The introduction of these special train services has significantly enhanced the travel experience for the Shiva devotees, providing them with timely and comfortable journeys.
Facilities such as transportation, guidance, and overall management have been put in place to ensure a seamless and comfortable darshan of Lord Somnath. Integrated measures have been implemented to facilitate smooth movement and convenience for devotees traveling from Veraval Railway Station to the Somnath Temple.
Pleased with the arrangements, devotees like Akshay Panchal from Tapi district have found the pilgrimage much easier due to the provided facilities. Expressing gratitude, they lauded the state government for the well-organized arrangements.
