Lt Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir emphasized the region’s shift from mediocrity to aiming for significant achievements. He inaugurated the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters in Sidhra, Jammu city, highlighting the commitment to transparency and anti-corruption efforts.
Sinha stressed the transformative changes witnessed in the region in recent years, ensuring a transparent system. He underlined the importance of the ACB in upholding integrity and public trust, urging firm actions against corruption.
The ACB, a key anti-graft organization in the union territory, focuses on eradicating corruption and bribery among government employees. Various legislative acts have been implemented over the years to strengthen anti-corruption measures, including bringing elected representatives under the purview of corruption laws.
