Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Ram Navami, which commemorates Lord Ram’s birth anniversary. He highlighted Lord Ram’s qualities of self-restraint, dedication, cooperation, and adherence to values, encouraging people to stand against injustice and confront challenges with bravery.
Yadav conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the citizens of Madhya Pradesh on the auspicious day of Ram Navami. He emphasized the significance of pilgrimage sites like Ayodhya, Chitrakoot Dham, and Orchha in the state, closely linked to Lord Ram, as symbols of his life and teachings that continue to inspire humanity.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit Chitrakoot Dham, a revered town straddling the Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh border, known for its spiritual ambiance and historical temples where Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana spent a significant part of their exile. The BJP-led government in Madhya Pradesh has proposed a comprehensive development plan for Chitrakoot, focusing on enhancing religious sites and overall infrastructure.
The development initiatives, valued at Rs 5,000 crore, encompass projects such as urban forest creation, ghat construction, road enhancements, river conservation, and Parikrama Path development. The initial phase, costing Rs 2,800 crore, is slated for completion by April next year, as per government statements.
