Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to kick off the third edition of ‘Queens on the Wheels’, an initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. This initiative involves 25 women superbikers who will showcase the state’s tourism spots nationally and internationally. The seven-day event will cover a bike trail spanning about 1,400 km from Bhopal to Khajuraho.
Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and Secretary, Dr. Ilaiyaraja T, highlighted that this event, celebrating women’s empowerment, freedom, and heritage, follows the success of the previous editions. The superbikers will not only ride but also promote women’s empowerment, courage, and the cultural and tourism richness of Madhya Pradesh. The aim is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a secure, thrilling, and top-tier tourism destination through such creative endeavors.
The journey will commence in Bhopal and pass through various destinations like Sanchi, Udayagiri, Chanderi, Shivpuri, Kuno, Gwalior, Datia, Orchha, and Khajuraho before concluding back in Bhopal on March 13. This initiative seeks to showcase the state’s historical and archaeological heritage and position Madhya Pradesh as a secure and lively tourism hub for women. Additionally, it will shed light on lesser-known destinations, boost rural tourism circuits, and promote responsible travel across the state.
Chief Minister Yadav will also inaugurate completed projects and lay foundation stones for new developments worth Rs 163.62 crore during his visit to Vidisha district. Furthermore, he will inaugurate the state’s first district-level fingerprint laboratory and distribute benefits to eligible beneficiaries under various government schemes.
